Officers are the roster you assign to Unit Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Stats tracked on a profile are Accuracy, Tactics, Speed, Leadership, Support, and Survivability. Rarities confirmed for normal hiring are Common and Uncommon. Legendary recruits are mentioned as a later pool, but no named Legendary officer or drop rate is published.
How people join
- Local recruitment brings academy graduates and local transfers into open patrol and SWAT slots.
- Regional transfers are the path described for more experienced officers.
- A Personnel File, including the one from the SWATTEAM code, drops an officer straight into an open slot. If the roster is full, the file has nowhere to go.
New hires start as probation officers. Call experience and a filled baseline are what the guides say you need before a formal promotion raises their performance cap. Exact experience numbers are not published.
Equip a piece of gear
Loot stays in inventory until you assign it. It comes from evidence bags, bonus crates, and armory drops after missions.
- Open the armory or the officer's roster page.
- Select the officer.
- Open the unassigned inventory.
- Choose the item, such as a Standard Issue Heavy Carbine, a Department Light Vest, or a Medic Pack, and confirm the equip prompt.
If a flashbang or heavy entry tool will not equip, the officer is probably missing the Breacher certification those items ask for. Body armor, including the Department Light Vest and higher plates, is what raises survival in shootouts. There is no published armor rating table.
Role shortcuts
Use Assault, Breacher, and Medic for the role rules, and the named starters Carter, Ramirez, and Morgan for the opening profiles.
An editorial comparison of the three starters for two different goals is on the tier list. It is not an official ranking.
Roster gates
Headquarters level limits how many people can be assigned. Headquarters Level 3 adds Unit Charlie and garage space. Level 4 is the later officer-capacity step. Hiring past those caps does not create a new responding unit by itself.
