Dispatch is the cash and gear loop. An alarm or radio alert appears on the city map. You assign a squad, the vehicle drives to the scene, you pick an entry, and the summary pays out from Speed, Captures, Safety, and Damage.
Call types you can actually plan for
| Incident | Places named in guides | Actions that are documented | Rewards that are documented |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alarm or corner-store robbery | Corner store, gas station, bank | Front entry, rear entry, room clearing | Cash, Department Light Vest, Medic Pack |
| Barricaded high-risk arrest | Maple Apartments, city hospital | Side-door breach, rear flank, negotiate | Cash, evidence cases, weapon drops |
| Pursuit or traffic call | Street sectors, Harbor Avenue | Pursuit, spike strips, perimeter | Apprehensions and patrol cash |
| High-value target | Deluxe Street Crew hideouts | Planned raid and a tactical breach | Capture bonuses and bonus crates |
| Global Raid | Cross-server | Assign one unit | Shared funding; unlock written as Department Level 7 |
Danny "Lock" Mercer of the Deluxe Street Crew is the named barricaded target. Office towers show up as a later armed-threat location, and Downtown opens with the Level 3 district milestone. Fender benders are mentioned as minor calls that field units can take.
Choose the entry for the building
- Front entry starts fastest and walks into crossfire in places such as a bank lobby.
- Rear entry and a flank use service doors to cut off suspects who run.
- A breach point uses a charge on a reinforced side door or wall.
Tools that change the breach are breaching charges, shotgun breaching, a battering ram, and a hydraulic spreader. Drones, flashbangs, ballistic shields, and spike strips are the control tools. Flashbangs and heavy entry tools are described as Breacher-certified, so an Assault or Medic may be blocked from equipping them.
Squad slots
Unit Alpha is the starter vehicle. Unit Bravo is the second team and its exact upgrade level is not published. Unit Charlie arrives with Headquarters Level 3, together with more garage space.
When the call goes wrong
Injured officers need recovery time or a medical kit. If every officer goes down, the operation fails. Morgan's No One Left Behind perk is the documented way to keep far more of that failed payout. A downed bank robbery is the example used for a total failure.
Automatic response is a research unlock, not a default. After Dynamic Building Records (also described as automated dynamics) finishes, patrol cars take minor calls in their zone by themselves. Major barricades and high-value raids still need a manual assignment.
A practical order
Take corner-store and gas-station alarms until the summary grades are stable. Add a Breacher before you rely on side charges. Save hospital and apartment barricades for a second unit. Leave Global Raids until Department Level 7, and read wanted targets before you spend the cash reserve those raids require.
Gear names and who can hold them are on Equipment.
